Entry: Any eligible owner/skipper may enter the regatta by completing and returning the entry form, together with an appropriate check, to the address indicated. The entry form must be postmarked no later than October 5, 2010.

 Cabela’s event pond

The lake at Cabela’s is one of the most perfect venues that I have ever seen for RC sailing and I can guarantee that it will be a delight just to sail on it. As you can see from the photos there are no obstacles to the wind and the configuration of the lake will allow us to have a true upwind start no matter which direction the wind blows.

This National is truly an event for everyone at all skill levels of sailing ability. Whether you are new to the Star 45 or your club’s "top bear" there is still a place for you at this event. Our objective is to give everyone an equal chance of winning every race, while keeping the boats in each heat to a manageable number (10 or less). The goal is to place equal ability sailors together, making the event a lot more "fun" for everyone. So this one National Regatta that you don’t have to worry that you’re not good enough, because all you need is the desire to have a great time, in a wonderful setting, with a lot of friends.

If there is even a remote possibility that you can attend, send me an e-mail (nuumnuum@aol.com) or give me a call so that I can update you on any news, as well as let you know who else might be sailing. John Emery

So hitch your wagon to a star, or vice versa, and don’t miss this regatta.
